Ryan Preece will start his 10th NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race of the 2022 season from the top spot, as he inherited the pole by way of the rulebook after qualifying was canceled due to rain.

In the event of rain, the field in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series is set by the NASCAR Performance Metric, a formula that weighs statistics from the last series event as well as season-long point rankings and other factors.

Preece, who pilots the No. 17 Ford F-150 for David Gilliland Racing on a part-time basis, has one win this season for the organization to go along with six top-fives and eight top-10s. Preece’s one win came at Nashville Superspeedway and he started from the pole that day.

Rain rolled into the area at Homestead-Miami Speedway right at the conclusion of Truck Series practice. While it looked like the track would be dry in time for Truck Series qualifying to occur, it was ultimately wiped out.

Starting on the outside of the front row alongside Preece will be Ben Rhodes in the No. 99 ThorSport Racing entry.

Matt DiBenedetto, Chandler Smith and Eckes will round out the top-five starters for Saturday’s Baptist Health 200.

Zane Smith, Hailie Deegan, Parker Kligerman, Stewart Friesen and Chase Purdy will make up the remainder of the top-10 starters in the field of 36 trucks.

37 trucks made the trip to Homestead, which means one truck will have to go home without the chance of qualifying their way in. The truck that will go home is the No. 84 Cook Racing Technologies entry, which was set to be driven by Clay Greenfield.

Here is the complete starting lineup for Saturday’s NASCAR Camping World Truck Seris Baptist Health 200 at Homestead-Miami Speedway:
