For the fourth time in 10 race weekends, the NASCAR Xfinity Series has had its practice and qualifying sessions canceled, due to inclement weather. This time, that wet weather is surrounding Dover Motor Speedway.

The forecast, which has rain on the docket for the majority of the weekend, has already forced the cancellation of ARCA East practice and qualifying, while also forcing NASCAR to push the start of Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series race forward an hour.

With time trials set to not take place this weekend, the starting lineup for Saturday’s A-GAME 200 will be set by the rulebook, which relies on NASCAR’s Performance Metric System, developed in 2020.

Parker Kligerman, driving the No. 48 Chevrolet Camaro for Big Machine Racing, will start from the pole in Saturday’s 200-lap contest, as he and his single-car team fight to earn the $100,000 Dash4Cash bonus at the end of the event.

Cole Custer, who returned to the NASCAR Xfinity Series this season with Stewart-Haas Racing, will start alongside Kligerman on the front row. Sheldon Creed will start from third, while Jordan Anderson Racing teammates Jeb Burton and Parker Retzlaff will complete the top five.

Austin Hill, the sole multi-time winner in the series this year, will start the race from sixth place, while Josh Williams, Brandon Jones, Brennan Poole, and Chandler Smith will complete the top-10 starters for Saturday’s event.

On Monday, NASCAR’s preliminary entry list showed 40 cars entered for Saturday’s event, but due to a rainy-looking forecast, Spire Motorsports elected to withdraw its No. 77 Chevrolet Camaro from the event, leaving just one entry to be sent packing.

Dawson Cram, driving the No. 74 for CHK Racing, is the one driver that will not take the green flag in Saturday’s A-GAME 200 at Dover, marking the eighth DNQ in 10 attempts for the organization this season.
