It’s been a big week for the MBM Motorsports NASCAR Xfinity Series team. Not only did their No. 66 car, driven by JJ Yeley, score the best starting position in the history of the team — 14th — at Texas Motor Speedway, but on Monday morning, the No. 13 team made a major sponsorship announcement.

Timmy Hill and MBM will carry the black and blue colors of Prime Hydration, a company founded by entrepreneurs and influencers, Logan Paul and KSI this weekend at Charlotte Motor Speedway in the NASCAR Xfinity Series Alsco 300.

For Paul, 27, his company expanding their marketing reach to NASCAR comes at an ideal time for the growing drink brand.

“As one of the fastest growing hydration drinks in America, this partnership couldn’t have come at a better time as we continue to expand in other markets and share what Prime is all about,” said Paul in a team press release. “We’re taking Prime to the next level and are excited to introduce our brand to the world of NASCAR.”

It’s incredible that Paul, one of the largest names in the history of YouTube, who is also a boxer, actor and musician has partnered with MBM.

For hydration drinks, it’s important for the drink to be smooth. To keep in line with that spirit, the company being paired with Hill as their driver seems like a match made in marketing heaven as Hill is as smooth as they come behind the wheel.

Hill has only recorded one on-track incident through 11 starts between the NASCAR Xfinity Series and NASCAR Camping World Truck Series this season, according to the TobyChristie.com Incident Tracker.

The 29-year old driver is excited to be welcoming Prime Hydration to the track for the first time.

“I am excited to help bring in a new company to NASCAR this weekend,” Hill said. “Prime has kept all us refreshed in the shop while preparing the car for this exciting weekend.”

MBM Motorsports team owner Carl Long says the partnership with Prime Hydration has lifted the energy level of the team within his shop.

“The energy that Prime Hydration has brought to MBM Motorsports over the last few weeks has been tremendous,” Long explained. “We are excited to introduce their drinks to fans at the race while giving us the boost to have a strong run in Charlotte.”

Heading into this weekend, Hill has a career-best finish of third in NASCAR Xfinity Series competition, which came with MBM at Daytona International Speedway in the season-opening race of the 2020 season.

The Alsco 300 at Charlotte Motor Speedway is set for Saturday, May 28th at 1:00 PM ET. Television coverage will be provided by FS1.
