After an off-season full of shuffling, we’ve learned that Kyle Busch Motorsports has not slowed down, despite switching manufacturers to Chevrolet for the 2023 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series season.

Kyle Busch, co-owner of Kyle Busch Motorsports, demonstrated that in single-truck qualifying at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, taking the pole position on Friday by nearly two-tenths of a second.

Busch, making his first of five NASCAR Truck Series starts in 2023, laid down a lap time of 30.222 seconds (178.678mph), to lead a top-three sweep for Chevrolet, with Nick Sanchez and Chase Purdy starting second and third.

After leading Friday’s 20-minute practice session, Ty Majeski earned a fourth-place starting spot for ThorSport Racing and Ford Performance, while Hailie Deegan earned her second career top-five start in fifth.

Running full-time in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series in 2023, Bret Holmes qualified sixth for Friday’s event, while Zane Smith, Carson Hocevar, Ben Rhodes, and Kaz Grala completed the top-10.

Matt Crafton, Christian Eckes, John Hunter Nemechek, Jake Garcia, and Corey Heim will start 11th from 15th, putting on display one of the most stacked fields in the history of the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series.
