Emerling Gase Motorsports will welcome Kitty Kat Coin Cryptocurrency & Ecosystem (Kats Coin) as a primary sponsor of the organization in multiple races this season, beginning at Daytona International Speedway.

According to the team’s press release, Kitty Kat Coin is “a unique & innovative cryptocurrency and also has created a decentralized ecosystem for cryptocurrency projects focused on Racing, Sports, Gaming & FinTech Solutions.”

The organization will field two entries in the season-opener at Daytona, with Shane Lee being the wheel of the No. 35 ‘Team Panther’ Toyota Supra, and team co-owner Joey Gase behind the wheel of the no. 53 ‘Team Leopard’ Ford Mustang.

Lee, 28, last competed in the NASCAR Xfinity Series during the 2019 season, driving for H2 Motorsports. After seven starts for the upstart team, H2 dissolved. Lee acquired equipment from team owner Matt Hurley in the break-up.

On November 18th, Gase announced the formation of his own NASCAR Xfinity Series team, Joey Gase Racing. According to the release from Gase, Lee brought in his own equipment from that dispute with Hurley as part of the deal to have Lee run for the team.

On December 30th, Gase announced that modified star Patrick Emerling had joined the team as a partner and that the team would be rebranded to Emerling Gase Motorsports.

Now, the team has made the announcement of their first race sponsorship in Kitty Kat Coin.
