Keith McGee – who became the first disabled veteran and first Alaskan to compete in NASCAR’s top-three series upon making his debut at Richmond Raceway last April — will make his season debut for Reaume Brothers Racing at Bristol Motor Speedway.

The 40-year-old will pilot the organization’s No. 43 Chevrolet Silverado in the second annual Pinty’s Dirt Race at the half-mile facility, with sponsorship from Vulcan Towing and Recovery.

“I’m really looking forward to getting my hands dirty at the Pinty’s Truck Race on Dirt at Bristol Motor Speedway,” said McGee. “While my dirt racing resume isn’t very long, I do have ice racing experience in Alaska, and I will lean heavily on that to help me wheel my No. 43 Vulcan Towing and Recovery Chevrolet Silverado around The Last Great Colosseum.”

Following his debut at Richmond Raceway, McGee competed in an additional four events last season, for a variety of organizations, netting his first career top-10 finish at Talladega Superspeedway piloting the No. 41.

“Justin at Vulcan Towing and Recovery has been there with me from the beginning of my racing career in Alaska and his support has been unwavering,” McGee continued. “He also donates his time and resources to help fellow Alaskans in their time of need. He recently donated his time and heavy haul equipment to help clear a 40-foot-deep avalanche that cut off access to more than 100 homes in my hometown of Eagle River, AK.”

“I would also like to thank Josh [Reaume] and everyone at Reaume Brothers Racing for giving me this opportunity to get back to doing what I love.”

Reaume, owner of Reaume Brothers Racing, is excited to have McGee behind the wheel at Bristol, after success in his previous starts, saying: “Anytime Keith drives a race car, it is a reflection of grit and determination. I’m happy to have him back behind the wheel for us.”

McGee, alongside his part-time racing duties, assists Reaume Brothers Racing in the team’s graphics department, while also doing some mechanical work for the team throughout the week and on race weekends.
