Kaden Honeycutt, who has spent the last two seasons competing part-time in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series for various organizations, has secured a ride with Niece Motorsports for the CRC Brakleen 150 at Pocono Raceway.

The 20-year-old driver will get behind the wheel of a fourth entry for Niece Motorsports, No. 44, at the 2.5-mile facility, as he looks to improve upon a 25th-place finish at the track last season, which he earned with On Point Motorsports.

“I’m excited to get back behind the wheel and am extremely thankful to Al Niece and everyone at Niece Motorsports for the opportunity,” said Honeycutt. “We’re hopeful that we can get some more partners to come on board and make some more starts this season. I’ve been working at the shop the last few months, so I know how hard this organization is working to field fast trucks. I’m looking forward to Pocono.”

In his short tenure competing in the NASCAR Truck Series, Honeycutt has turned the heads of many competitors, scoring three top-10 results in 16 starts, coming with three different organizations at Phoenix Raceway, Bristol Dirt, and Darlington.

“Kaden has really impressed a lot of people in the Truck Series this season, so we are happy to have him behind the wheel of one of our Chevrolets,” said Niece Motorsports General Manager Cody Efaw. “Our team is working hard to build the fastest trucks we can. We visited Victory Lane at Pocono in 2019 and we’re looking for more of the same next weekend.”

Honeycutt will serve as an additional teammate to the organization’s full-time competitors in the series, Carson Hocevar and Lawless Alan. Hocevar, driving the No. 42 Chevrolet Silverado, has brought the organization to two victories in Texas and Nashville.

According to a team release, the Willow Park, Texas native is looking to gain additional sponsorship, in hopes of returning to the No. 44 Chevrolet Silverado for more races this season, as he looks to continue padding his resume.
