Jordan Taylor, who made his NASCAR Cup Series debut at Circuit of The Americas in March, will compete in the NASCAR Xfinity Series event at Portland International Raceway, scoring a one-race deal with Kaulig Racing.

A native of Orlando, Florida, Taylor will pilot the No. 10 Chevrolet Camaro in the Pacific Office Automation 147, the second NASCAR Xfinity Series event on the 1.967-mile road course in Portland, Oregon.

“I am really pumped to make my first Xfinity series start with Kaulig Racing, a team that has shown it can dominate at road courses,” said Taylor. “I’ve been fortunate in my racing career to compete at so many different tracks, and I’m looking forward to checking Portland off my list.”

The 32-year-old driver’s participation in the June 3rd event at Portland International Raceway continues the trend of Taylor exploring different racing disciplines, which this season has already included the NASCAR Cup Series and CARS Late Model Tour.

In March, Taylor served as the interim driver of the No. 9 Chevrolet Camaro for an injured Chase Elliott at Circuit of The Americas, where he earned a fourth-place starting spot, before finishing 25th.

Through the first 11 events of 2023, Kaulig Racing has brought three different drivers to victory lane in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, with AJ Allmendinger winning at COTA, Chandler Smith at Richmond, and most recently, Kyle Larson at Darlington.

“Matt Kaulig and I are super excited to have Jordan [Taylor] in the No. 10 car for Portland”, said team president, Chris Rice. “Adding another driver with this much road-course expertise will be a lot of fun. Jordan impressed a lot of people in his first NASCAR start at COTA, and I can’t wait to see what he will do in his first Xfinity Series start.”

A partnership announcement for the No. 10 Chevrolet Camaro for Taylor’s debut in the NASCAR Xfinity Series will come at a later date.
