Clay Greenfield, a long-time competitor in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, has joined forces with long-time sponsor Backyear Blues Pools to form a brand-new organization in the NASCAR Truck Series.

GK Racing, owned by Clay & Tandra Greenfield and Jordan & Theresa Kiss, will compete in select NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series events this season, before tackling the series with an expanded schedule in 2024.

The organization will attempt to make its series debut in Saturday’s Toyota 200 at WWT Raceway, fielding the No. 95 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro for Greenfield, who last competed at the 1.25-mile facility in 2020.

A press release from the organization says “We are thrilled to have female ownership, as Theresa Kiss (Hispanic female) and former NFL cheerleader Tandra Greenfield have aligned to bring this epic team together.”

Jordan Kiss, owner of Backyard Blues Pools in Murfreesboro, Indiana has sponsored Greenfield in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series since 2020, and will continue to do so on-board the organization’s new entry.

For the last two seasons, Greenfield has been partnered with Bruce Cook and Cook Racing Technologies to field the No. 84 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro, which has qualified for a pair of events in the last two seasons, both at superspeedways.

Last Fall at Talladega, Greenfield made the event in the No. 84 Toyota Tundra and crossed the start-finish line in 12th, after a last-lap accident took out several drivers racing for the victory in the lead pack.
