For the first time in nearly seven years, 2018 NASCAR Cup Series champion Joey Logano will return to the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, announcing on Wednesday that he’ll pilot a fourth entry for David Gilliland Racing in the Pinty’s Truck Race on Dirt at Bristol.

Logano, who won the inaugural NASCAR Cup Series on Bristol’s purpose-built dirt oval, will drive the No. 54 Ford F-150 with backing from long-time partner, Planet Fitness.

Running alongside Logano at David Gilliland Racing, will be NASCAR Cup Series Rookie of The Year contender, Harrison Burton, who was announced as the driver of the No. 17 Hunt Brothers Pizza Ford F-150 on Tuesday.

Hailie Deegan and Tanner Gray will both retain their usual full-time posts with the organization, driving the No. 1 and No. 15 Ford F-150s, respectively, as the team field four trucks for the first time since switching to the Ford Performance family at the start of 2020.
