Champion Container has partnered with GMS Racing and Rookie of The Year contender, Daniel Dye, to serve as a four-race primary sponsor of the No. 43 Chevrolet Silverado in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series.

Announced on Tuesday, the partnership will begin with one of the biggest races of the season at North Wilkesboro Speedway, as the NASCAR Truck Series becomes the first series to run a point-paying event on the track since 1996.

“It is great to have Champion Container back on our race truck this season, and continuing to build and grow our relationship that started in the ARCA Series,” commented driver Daniel Dye. “I feel like North Wilkesboro will be a good opportunity for us to represent the No. 43 Champion Container Chevy at a cool short track on FOX, and I look forward to having their group at the track with us throughout the season.”

The company’s red and yellow branding will return to the NASCAR Truck Series at Nashville Superspeedway, before rounding out its four-race sponsorship campaign at Pocono Raceway and Bristol Motor Speedway.

In addition to its four-race primary partnership with Dye and the No. 43 team, the company will also become an associate sponsor throughout the remainder of the 2023 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series season.

“Once again, Champion Container is thrilled to be a sponsor of Daniel Dye’s No. 43 truck this year. We are looking forward to a fun, competitive season,” said Thomas Miskewitz, CEO of Champion Container. “We continue to support the Race to Stop Suicide. As mental health continues to get worse in this country, it is nice to be able to partner with a strong voice on the subject that wants to make a difference.”

Daniel Dye, a native of DeLand, Florida, has had a difficult start to his rookie season in the NASCAR Truck Series, with several mechanical problems plaguing his runs in the first six events of 2023. So far, Dye has a career-high finish of 16th, coming at Atlanta.
