Brett Moffitt, who ran the opening 20 races of the 2022 NASCAR Xfinity Series season for Our Motorsports, will slide behind the wheel of the No. 22 AM Racing Chevrolet Silverado for this weekend’s Kansas Lottery 200 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series event at Kansas Speedway.

According to a press release from AM Racing, Moffitt will carry sponsorship in the race from The Rasmussen Group and its subsidiaries Concrete Supply and JMT Trucking. Destiny Homes, another longtime partner of Moffitt, will also provide associate sponsorship.

Moffitt is ready to get back after it.

“I am really excited to get back behind the No. 22 Chevrolet Silverado RST for AM Racing at Kansas,” said Moffitt in the team release. “We’ve had a fair amount of success at Kansas Speedway over the years in trucks.

“Thanks to everyone at AM Racing for allowing me to get back in their truck for this race and all of the partners for their support throughout this year.”

AM Racing is just as elated to have a proven winner, such as Moffitt, back in their truck this weekend.

“AM Racing is proud to have Brett Moffitt back behind the wheel of our No. 22 Chevrolet Silverado at Kansas Speedway,” said team principal Kevin Cywinski. “Brett has been an asset to our organization in his two prior races with us and we know given his talent and track record at Kansas we will have an opportunity to contend for the win.”

Moffitt, the 2018 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series champion, has 12-career NCWTS victories, including one triumph at the 1.5-mile speedway in Kansas, which he achieved back in 2020.

The Iowa-native has made a total of 91 starts in NCWTS competition throughout his career, and he has finished inside the top-10 in 53 of those races.
