Brayton Laster – a part-time driver for Mullins Racing in the ARCA Menards Series — will quickly advance into NASCAR’s top-three divisions this season, as the long-time dirt racer will attempt to make his NASCAR Camping World Truck Series debut at Knoxville Raceway.

Laster, 19, announced his intentions to pilot a Reaume Brothers Racing entry in the second annual Corn Belt 150 at Knoxville via social media on Wednesday.

In his ARCA Menards Series debut at Daytona, Laster was able to complete all the laps and bring home a respectable 13th-place result. Returning to Talladega, the Greenwood, Indiana-native was poised for another top-15 result, before being involved in a multi-car accident.

As of the time of publishing, no truck number or sponsors had been announced for Laster’s debut effort in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series at Knoxville.
