Daniel Hemric flip Talladega NASCAR Xfinity Series Ag-Pro 300 video the big one
Daniel Hemric went for a wild ride as he attempted a block for the lead with three laps to go, which triggered the Big One in Saturday’s Ag-Pro 300 at Talladega.

Daniel Hemric, the race leader, received a great shove and shot out to a big lead with three laps to go in Saturday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series Ag-Pro 300 at Talladega Superspeedway. However, the lead proved to be too big, which allowed the field to get a massive run on Hemric.

As the driver of the No. 11 Kaulig Racing Chevrolet attempted to block the incoming No. 2 Chevrolet Camaro driven by Sheldon Creed, he misjudged and made contact.

The contact sent Hemric spinning from the lead, and after collecting several cars, Hemric launched into the sky, and even broke a camera that was stationed on the catchfence at Talladega Superspeedway.

Here is a video of the scary crash:

Hemric’s car landed on it’s roof, and the driver remained upside down in his car for several minutes before the track safety crew was able to get the car put back on it’s wheels.

Hemric was able to climb from the car.

Very few cars made it through the carnage unscathed. While the race went into a red flag following the massive crash, it appeared that Jeb Burton was the first driver to avoid the crash, and should be scored as the leader when the race resumes.

There were AT LEAST 14 cars involved in the accident including Hemric, Creed, Cole Custer, Austin Hill, Brett Moffitt, Kaz Grala, Ryan Sieg, Ryan Truex, Riley Herbst, Jeremy Clements, Josh Bilicki, Parker Retzlaff, Chandler Smith and CJ McLaughlin.
