The first wreck-related caution in Saturday’s Tennessee Lottery 250 wasn’t a pretty one, and a fan-favorite paint scheme got the worst end of it.

Stefan Parsons, racing in the Dogecoin sponsored No. 99 Supra, wrecked after contact with fellow Toyota driver David Starr on Lap 71.

The contact caused Parsons’ car to go towards the infield grass, before coming back up into traffic and slamming into the outside retaining wall.

Parsons walked away under his own power following the crash.

His B.J. McLeod Motorsports teammate Matt Mills narrowly missed the sliding No. 99.

The sponsorship for Parsons with the internet cryptocurrency was trending across the United States during the Tennesse Lottery 250, under the #Dogecar hashtag.

The North Carolina driver’s wreck is his third DNF of the season, in his part-time schedule with B.J. McLeod Motorsports.
