John Hunter Nemechek has destroyed his No. 20 Mobil 1 Toyota GR Supra after going off-track and hitting a grass divot.

John Hunter Nemechek’s regular-season points lead has evaporated following a difficult second stage in Saturday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series event at Road America.

Nemechek, driving the No. 20 Toyota GR Supra, was running inside the top-10 and looked to have a strong Joe Gibbs Racing entry to challenge for the win, when a series of incidents on the restart destroyed his afternoon.

The final nail in the coffin though, came at the exit of turn 13, when Nemechek went wide and ran into the grass, catapulting the four-time winner this season into the air after hitting a divot, and majorly damaging the entry upon hitting the ground again.

However, the contact ripped the entire nose off the No. 20 Toyota Supra, which left Nemechek’s car leaking lots of fluid all over the place, which created trouble for Austin Hill and Riley Herbst, upon getting in the oil.
