Ty Dillon – driving for Joe Gibbs Racing — has crashed late in the Alsco Uniforms 300 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, after spotter Drew Herring – who also spots for Martin Truex Jr. in the NASCAR Cup Series — had his radio die in the middle of a green flag run, leaving the driver of the No. 54 with no spotter audio.

Dillon came up the racetrack into Brett Moffitt, sending both the No. 54 and No. 02 in the outside wall. Further behind the accident, Garrett Smithley (17), Alex Labbe (36) and David Starr (13) made contact trying to get through the accident, leaving their cars wounded with under 20 to go.

Moffitt and Labbe would have to retire from the event, with Dillon, Smithley and Starr returning to the racetrack with varying amounts of damage.
