Another fresh-faced rookie is joining the seemingly ever-growing list of NASCAR Xfinity Series drivers starting in Phoenix.

Blaine Perkins, one of the most dominant drivers in the ARCA Menards West Series in 2020, will make his Xfinity Series debut with Our Motorsports in the No. 23 backed by Raceline Wheels and the Martin Truex Jr. Foundation.

Raceline Wheels is a market leader in the design and manufacturing of wheels for off-road, street, and track use.

“Making my NASCAR national series debut in the Xfinity Series has been a long time coming, and it’s taken a lot of hard work, by a lot of different people to make this happen, but I couldn’t be more ready for Phoenix this weekend with Our Motorsports,” Perkins told TobyChristie.com. “I’ve been training, mentally and physically for this moment and I’m ready! I have to thank Our Motorsports for this opportunity, along with Team Chevy, but also Raceline Wheels and the Martin Truex Jr. Foundation for their support.”

The bold scheme was designed by Emily Butler, the Creative Media Director from the Truex Management Group. The up-and-coming driver is represented by TMG.

“We wanted to do something unique with Blaine’s Our Motorsports No. 23,” Butler told TobyChristie.com. “With Blaine being a new competitor in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, we knew it was important he be behind the wheel of a livery that stood out on the track. We used the curves of Raceline’s logo and simple color pallet to do a sleek design that showcases the car’s body lines.”

Our Motorsports confirmed last week that the organization successfully acquired the owner points from Ryan Sieg Racing’s No. 23 to have two full-time entries in the Xfinity Series for 2021. NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Champion Brett Moffitt will run the No. 02 in a full season schedule while the No. 23 will feature multiple drivers throughout the season.

The California driver had an impressive 2020 ARCA Menards West season, notching three wins, and nine top-ten finishes in 11 starts with Sunrise Ford Racing. He finished second in the final points, just 25 points behind eventual champion Jesse Love. He’s expected to participate in at least six Xfinity races in 2021.

Fans can see Perkins make his debut for Our Motorsports in Phoenix on Saturday, March 13 at 5:30 PM EST on FOX Sports 1 and the FOX Sports App.
