The preliminary entry list for Saturday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series Alsco Uniforms 250 at Atlanta Motor Speedway has been released, and 39 cars are set to do battle for 38 spots in the field.
Cole Custer, the winner of last weekend’s inaugural NASCAR Xfinity Series event on the Chicago Street Course, is once again entered in Saturday’s event at Atlanta Motor Speedway, where he’ll pilot the No. 00 Ford Mustang for Stewart-Haas Racing.
While the majority of the field retains their usual driver-team pairings for this weekend’s event, there are some week-to-week changes between the entry list for Chicago’s Street Course and Atlanta.
For the first time since Charlotte, Justin Haley returns to the NASCAR Xfinity Series this weekend, piloting the No. 10 Chevrolet Camaro for Kaulig Racing. The entry has scored three victories this season at Circuit of The Americas, Darlington, and Nashville.
Similarly, Ty Gibbs will make his fifth Xfinity Series start of the season with Joe Gibbs Racing at Atlanta Motor Speedway, driving the No. 19 Toyota GR Supra. Last weekend, Connor Mosack piloted the entry to a 35th-place finish.
Greg Van Alst, winner of the ARCA Menards Series event at Daytona, will attempt to make his Xfinity Series debut in Saturday’s 250-mile contest, driving the No. 44 Chevrolet Camaro for Alpha Prime Racing.
Other notable entries for the Alsco Uniforms 250 include #4 – Garrett Smithley, #07 – Mason Maggio, #24 – Parker Chase, #36 – Kyle Weatherman, #53 – Akinori Ogata, #66 – Chad Finchum, #91 – Josh Bilicki
