On Tuesday, JR Motorsports announced the return of another sponsorship partner for the 2025 NASCAR Xfinity Series season as Kampgrounds of America (KOA) will serve as a one-race primary sponsorship partner for Connor Zilisch and the No. 88 team.

Additionally, KOA will be a full-season associate sponsorship partner.

With how prevalent campgrounds are at NASCAR race tracks, the partnership with a NASCAR team, and one as strong as JR Motorsports, is an impactful marketing tool for KOA.

“NASCAR fans have a strong connection to the outdoors, with 40% more likely to own an RV, according to MRI Simmons research,” Diane Eichler, Senior Vice President of Marketing at KOA said. “Partnering with JR Motorsports builds our brand visibility among this dedicated group of campers while inspiring race fans to connect with the outdoors – and each other – through camping.”

Zilisch, who enters his rookie season in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, will carry the colors of KOA on his No. 88 Chevrolet Camaro at Iowa Speedway on Saturday, August 2.

Not only will KOA return to JR Motorsports in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, KOA will also be an associate sponsorship partner on Wyatt Miller’s Micro Sprint car in 2025 as well.

“As a longtime KOA Rewards camper, I am thrilled for the continuation of our partnership into 2025,” said JRM CEO Kelley Earnhardt Miller in a team release. “We are looking forward to a great season with KOA for both Wyatt and the No. 88 with Connor as we continue to work to expand this relationship.”

KOA will join WeatherTech, Carolina Carports, and Roto-Rooter as confirmed 2025 primary sponsorship partners for Zilisch so far.

While only 18 years old, Zilisch has shown the driving ability of a cagey veteran in his limited starts in the NASCAR National Series ranks. Zilisch won in his NASCAR Xfinity Series debut for JR Motorsports last season at Watkins Glen International.

The phenom would go on to score fourth-place finishes at Kansas Speedway, and Phoenix Raceway. The worst finish for Zilisch in four NASCAR Xfinity Series starts was a 12th-place run at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

While Zilisch didn’t have as much luck in getting the finishes in six NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series starts, the youngster recorded two poles and a best finish of fourth in the NASCAR Truck Series in 2024.
