Kris Wright, who finished third in the 2024 ARCA Menards Series championship standings with Venturini Motorsports, will officially head to the NASCAR Xfinity Series full-time in 2025. Wright will pilot the No. 5 Chevrolet Camaro for Our Motorsports, which was occupied by Anthony Alfredo last season.

The 30-year-old Wright will carry primary sponsorship from longtime partner F.N.B. Corporation for the effort.

Wright, who got a taste of the NASCAR Xfinity Series in a part-time capacity in 2021, and 2022, is excited for what’s ahead of him next season.

“I am thrilled to join Our Motorsports for the 2025 season,” said Kris Wright. “I’m equally excited to make my return to the NASCAR Xfinity Series and look forward to hitting the road for 33 weeks to take on the challenges of a full season together.”

Likewise, Our Motorsports is excited for the upcoming season. With Alfredo behind the wheel a season ago, the team was a fringe Playoff contender for the majority of the season before ultimately missing the Playoff field. The team is excited to see what Wright can do with their equipment after his successful ARCA Menards Series season in 2024.

“As we build on our successful 2024 season, we look forward to bringing Kris Wright in as our driver for 2025,” said Chris Our, co-owner of Our Motorsports. “Kris is coming off his best season in NASCAR and ARCA Menards Series competition, and we are excited to compete together next year. Our goal remains the same: finish every lap and every race on the schedule.”

While Wright’s first foray into the NASCAR National Series fray didn’t go as planned, that may have come as a result of the Pennsylvania native being thrust into the NASCAR Xfinity and Craftsman Truck Series ranks too quickly.

The driver really gained consistency at the ARCA level in 2024, and likely bolstered confidence in his own race craft along the way. In 20 starts, Wright collected eight top-five finishes, and 12 top-10s. The driver nearly won at Elko Speedway, but narrowly missed out on a win in a wild three-wide finish against William Sawalich and Lavar Scott.

Heading into the 2025 season, Wright has 16 career starts in the NASCAR Xfinity Series with a best finish of 17th coming at Watkins Glen International in August 2021, while driving for Sam Hunt Racing.
