The Lucky Dog Podcast with Jesse Little has officially dropped it’s five-episode season one on most podcasting platforms.

CONCORD, N.C. — It’s officially time to unveil the latest addition to the TobyChristie.com family: The Lucky Dog Podcast with Jesse Little, a Mamba Media production.

Starting today (Thursday, October 21, 2021), the entire five-episode season 1 is available for you to binge-listen to, or listen to at your leisure at Anchor, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Overcast, Breaker, Castbox and Stitcher among many other podcasting directories that you currently find your podcasts at.

“This has been something kind of fun that we’ve tossed around and always talked about,” Host of the show Jesse Little said. “When Mamba [Smith] and I got together, and we were finally able to do it, I thought, ‘You know, this could actually work.'”

In this opening season, Jesse Little is joined with Mamba Smith in the Pilot episode and the official episode 1 of the show. In episodes three through five, Little brings on drivers who he considers true underdog grinders in the world of NASCAR for in depth conversations about what it is to be an underdog racer in the top form of auto racing in the United States.

“There’s obviously a lot of content out there, from drivers. And podcasts [at this point] are nothing special. I was more so coming from the angle of, I’d love to do one that really tells the story of what people might not see on TV.

“You can follow a bunch of drivers on social media, but it’s still hard to understand what happens behind the scenes,” Little explains. “So, I thought it would be really cool to have a platform, where I could sit down and talk with some of my good buddies and best friends and lay it all out there. Tell not only how I approach it, but how they approach it and their experiences and trials and tribulations along the way.”

Drivers featured in season one are:

Ryan Vargas, who competes in the NASCAR Xfinity Series for JD Motorsports in the No. 6 car, appears in episode three of The Lucky Dog Podcast. In addition to his racing acumen, Vargas has gained notoriety for his TikTok prowess and his love of chicken nuggets. Vargas has a career-best finish of eighth in 38-career NASCAR Xfinity Series starts.

Stefan Parsons, who competes in the NASCAR Xfinity Series for BJ McLeod Motorsports, appears in episode four of The Lucky Dog Podcast. Parsons, the son of former NASCAR Cup Series race winner Phil Parsons, has a career-best finish of 12th in 25-career NASCAR Xfinity Series starts. Parsons will drive full-time for BJMM in 2022.

Tommy Joe Martins, the owner and driver of the No. 44 car for Martins Motorsports in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, appears in episode five of The Lucky Dog Podcast. Martins, a native of Mississippi, has one career top-10 finish in 119 starts in NASCAR Xfinity Series competition.

The Lucky Dog Podcast is a raw and real look into the life and struggles of the underfunded underdog racers in the top levels of NASCAR racing.
