After an incredible start to the 2021 NASCAR Xfinity Series campaign or Jeremy Clements and Jeremy Clements Racing, the organization can finally take a sigh of relief, as it was announced on Friday Morning that First Pacific Funding has agreed to fill out all of the remaining gaps in the single-car organization’s sponsorship schedule this season, an agreement which will see FPF on-board the No. 51 Chevrolet Camaro in an additional nine races.

First Pacific Funding is currently in their second year of supporting Jeremy Clements Racing and initially signed on to be the primary sponsor of the team’s No. 51 in three races this year – at Las Vegas, Phoenix and Martinsville — but has since decided to increase their support for the family-owned operation. “We started with three races for 2021, but there is no way that we aren’t going to follow this year through to completion, we owe it to Jeremy,” said Steve Carnes.

Through eight events this season, Clements sits ahead of all three of JR Motorsports’ full-time drivers in points, currently sitting in eighth-place, 45 points above the cutline for the 2021 NASCAR Xfinity Series Playoffs. Clements’ three top-10 finishes this season at Daytona’s Road Course, Homestead and Phoenix, puts him on-track to exceed a career-high number of top-10s in a single season – 5 in 2020.
