SS-GreenLight Racing has finalized its driver lineup for the 2025 NASCAR Xfinity Series season as a rotating cast of drivers will be featured behind the wheel of the team’s No. 07 Chevrolet Camaro in the upcoming season.

On Thursday, the team announced it has signed talented modified racer Patrick Emerling, Nick Leitz, and Alex Labbe to fill out the 33-race schedule.

According to a press release from the team, Emerling will fill his schedule in the No. 07 Chevrolet to fit around the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour schedule, and his first start will come in the season-opening event at Daytona International Speedway. Emerling, who was the anchor driver of the No. 07 machine a season ago, feels the SS-GreenLight Racing team has only gotten stronger this offseason.

“I have a strong team in Bobby and Paul and the rest of the guys at SS-GreenLight,” said Emerling. “We definitely had our ups and downs last year, but we’ve done a lot of work over the off-season to ensure we’re in a good position for the 2025 season. I’m looking forward to partnering with Alex and Nick to give Bobby and the No. 07 a great year of racing.”

Leitz will pick up starts around ovals, and Labbe will be the team’s featured road racer. Labbe, a talented racer, who has been trying to find funding to elevate his schedule the last few seasons, is excited to have an entire slate of road course events to showcase his talents on in 2025.

“I’m super grateful for the opportunity,” said Labbé. “It’s fun to be able to have something to build on knowing that I’m going to be in the car for all of the road course races.”

SS-GreenLight Racing feels having three drivers with vastly different skillsets will allow the No. 07 team to compete at a higher level in 2025.

“We are really excited to start the season with this trio of drivers. Snow Belt MGMT was a huge help in securing this lineup. Each driver brings his own strengths to the team,” said SS-GreenLight owner Bobby Dotter. “Patrick was a real asset in 2024. He worked hard and continued to grow as a driver. We’re looking to build on that success throughout 2025.”

While Emerling and Labbe are returning faces to the SS-GreenLight Racing team, Leitz is a new addition after running part-time for DGM Racing a season ago. Leitz, who is still looking for his big break in the NASCAR National Series ranks, is excited for the chance to run for Dotter’s team.

“I truly appreciate this opportunity and am looking forward to working with Bobby and the team,” said Leitz. “Seat time is crucial to improving as a driver. It’s a really good feeling starting the season knowing that I’ll consistently be on the track.”

Dotter feels Leitz has shown tremendous upside in his limited starts to date in the NASCAR Xfinity Series.

“Nick is a welcome addition to the roster. He has shown a lot of promise in his young career, and we look forward to working with him,” said Dotter. “Alex is really strong in road courses, which is an area that we have struggled with in the past few seasons. We have a solid team here to build a successful season.”

Paul Clapprood will reprise his role as the crew chief of the No. 07 SS-GreenLight Racing team for the 2025 season. Sponsorship partners for the No. 07 entry will be announced at a later date.
