Brenden Queen, the driver affectionately known as “Butterbean”, will make his NASCAR Xfinity Series debut on Friday, September 12 at Bristol Motor Speedway. Queen will pilot the No. 11 Kaulig Racing Chevrolet, a car that the team has utilized a rotating cast of characters since releasing Josh Williams from the ride a couple of months ago.
Kaulig Racing made the announcement of Queen’s NASCAR Xfinity Series debut in the form of a social media post on Friday.

For the 27-year-old native of Chesapeake, Virginia, the chance to compete in the NASCAR Xfinity Series is a pinch-me moment.
“It’s been a dream of mine to get a chance to drive in the Xfinity Series,” said Queen in a press release. “I can’t thank everyone at Kaulig Racing enough for making that dream become a reality. I’m fortunate to have this opportunity, and I can’t wait to get to Bristol and give the team all I’ve got and have a solid day.”
Queen, who is a short track specialist, evidenced by his 2024 CARS Tour Late Model Stock Car Tour championship, is welcomed with open arms to the Kaulig Racing NASCAR Xfinity Series program for next week’s event at the 0.533-mile short track in Tennessee.
“We’re super excited to be a part of Brenden’s next steps in his racing career,” said Chris Rice, president of Kaulig Racing. “He has made a splash in the ARCA Menards Series and is an all-around great short track racer, so we’re looking forward to seeing what he can do in the Xfinity Series under the lights at Bristol.”
Queen is a six-time race winner in the ARCA Menards Series this season, his first full-time season in the series. The driver, who is 16 races into his 20-race stint with the No. 28 Pinnacle Racing Group Chevrolet team, is the series point leader in the ARCA Menards Series with just four races remaining in the campaign.
So far this year, Queen has notched wins at Daytona International Speedway, Kansas Speedway, Michigan International Speedway, Dover Motor Speedway, Iowa Speedway, and the dirt at DuQuoin.
