Austin Dillon, who ran two NASCAR Xfinity Series races a season ago, will run the upcoming NASCAR Xfinity Series event at Auto Club Speedway for Kaulig Racing in the team’s No. 10 entry.

Kaulig Racing made the announcement in a Tweet from the team’s Twitter account on Friday.

The tweet from the team stated, “We’re excited to announce @austindillon3 will jump behind the wheel of our No. 10 Chevy for the @NASCAR_Xfinity Series race at @autoclubspeedway! This will be his SIXTH start in our No. 10 car, with the previous five coming between the 2018 and 2019 seasons! #TrophyHunting”

Dillon, the full-time driver of the No. 3 Richard Childress Racing entry in the NASCAR Cup Series, was the NASCAR Xfinity Series champion in 2013, and the 32-year-old racer has nine victories to his name in NXS competition.

In five previous starts with Kaulig Racing, Dillon has scored a total of three top-10 finishes, including a best finish of fourth, which came at Las Vegas Motor Speedway during the 2019 NASCAR Xfinity Series season.

Back on January 18th, Landon Cassill announced that he would no longer be piloting the No. 10 Kaulig Racing entry for the full 2023 NASCAR Xfinity Series campaign, due to sponsorship issues after the initial announcement of a full-time run.

Following the Cassill announcement, Kaulig Racing has seemingly appeared to fill the open races in the No. 10 entry with an All-Star cast of characters.

Justin Haley was announced as the driver of the No. 10 entry for multiple races during the 2023 NASCAR Xfinity Series season, including the season-opening event at Daytona International Speedway.

Dillon is the second driver to be announced to the All-Star car’s driver lineup.
