After finishing stage two in the top five of Saturday’s CRC Brakleen 150, Stewart Friesen’s chance at his first win of 2021 was dashed on Lap 52.

Coming off a fifth-place finish in Nashville, Friesen was working his way into the top 10  when he ended up backing his truck into the turn 1 wall.

It was unclear what caused the truck to spin. NASCAR deemed the incident as a single-car accident according to its timing and scoring.

The available replays failed to show Friesen beginning to spin, only after.

Friesen was able to drive the truck back to pit road after sustaining heavy damage to the rear of his No. 52 truck.
