Video: Jimmie Johnson Spins From Third Position on Restart With 19 Laps to Go at Kentucky

Oh man. Jimmie Johnson looked like he was potentially going to have a shot to win Sunday’s Quaker State 400 at Kentucky Speedway. He was sitting third and had fresher tires than Martin Truex Jr. and Ryan Blaney in the front.

However, on a restart with 19 laps left, Johnson saw Brad Keselowski building a big run on the inside. Johnson slid low to block, but in doing so made contact with Keselowski, which led to Johnson spinning out of third.
