For the second consecutive season, Gus Dean has taken an incredibly hard impact to the inside wall at Talladega Superspeedway, this time piloting the MASHONIT Clothing No. 56 for Hill Motorsports.

The contact came from Tanner Gray’s No. 15 Ford F-150, ultimately sending Dean sliding to the inside wall for a brutal impact.
Dean was unable to continue, and would be relegated to a 30th-place finish.
Vincent Bruins (Twitter) pointed out the similarities between Dean’s 2019 incident at Talladega and today’s incident:
