NASCAR Camping World Truck Series driver Grant Enfinger made his unexpected Xfinity debut during Saturday’s Alsco Uniforms 300.

Sadly, his debut came to an end early shortly after a restart following the Lap 20 competition caution.

Enfinger got turned into the outside wall on the front straightaway by the No. 13 of Chad Finchum, sending Enfinger’s Supra into the outside wall.

“He tried to throw a block, I was there” Finchum was heard saying over the radio following the incident.

Enfinger subbed for Brandon Gdovic after Pittsburgh native did not feel comfortable following practice of his driving ability according to a release by Sam Hunt Racing.

The DNF from Charlotte will mark the fourth consecutive race that the No. 26 failed to finish inside the top 30.
