Ryan Blaney is done for the day in Las Vegas after piling into Brad Keselowski, who had spun off turn 4. Screengrab from FOX Broadcast.

On lap 104, Brad Keselowski, who was sitting inside the top-10 of Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series Pennzoil 400 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, broke loose in the low line on the exit of turn 4.

As Keselowski pitched sideways, Ryan Blaney, who was running directly behind Keselowski on track, had nowhere to go and slammed directly into Keselowski.

The contact severely damaged Blaney’s car and he has taken the No. 12 Team Penske Ford Mustang to the garage and he is done for the day. Blaney will finish 36th in the 37-car field.

Keselowski was able to stay in the race, albeit two laps off the pace.

It’s a heartbreaking end for Blaney, who was extremely fast on Sunday and had led 10 laps before exiting the race early.
