It’s been all GMS Racing through the first 2 Stages of Thursday’s NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series UNOH 200 at Bristol Motor Speedway. Tyler Ankrum led the final 50 laps of Stage 2 to take the Stage Win.

Ankrum, if you recall, was very frustrated with the performance of his No. 26 truck last week at Richmond and wasn’t excited about his team’s Playoff hopes. He may be feeling a little bit better after Stage 2 of Thursday’s race.

Johnny Sauter, who failed to make the Playoffs, is trying to play the spoiler in this race and finished runner-up in Stage 2.

Brett Moffitt, Ankrum’s teammate who led every lap of Stage 1 and the first five laps of Stage 2, finished third.

Moffitt and Ankrum have combined to lead every lap thru Stage 1 and 2.

Zane Smith was fourth and Sam Mayer finished in fifth.

Derek Kraus, Matt Crafton, Carson Hocevar, Parker Kligerman and Christian Eckes rounded out the top-10 in Stage 2.

The only incident of the Stage involved Spencer Boyd and Danny Bohn. Bohn got loose and spun as he made slight contact with Boyd. This marks Boyd’s first incident of the 2020 season, according to TobyChristie.com’s incident data.
