Timmy Hill, Hill Motorsports Readying For 2020 Truck Series Campaign

2019 was a successful dipping of the toes for Timmy Hill as a car owner in the NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series. The 26-year old fielded the No. 56 truck for four different drivers in 11 races. Overall, the Hill Motorsports team collected five top-20 finishes, including an eye-opening fifth place finish with Hill behind the wheel at Martinsville in the fall.

All five top-20 finishes came with Hill or his brother Tyler Hill behind the wheel. Bobby Reuse and Carson Hoecevar also made a start each in the No. 56 in 2019.

Now, it appears that Hill is expanding his fleet in an effort to continue competing in the series in 2020.

Hill posted to Twitter that he is excited for the upcoming season and that he felt his team surpassed expectations after starting up from scratch with two trucks in the garage.

The noticeable takeaway from Hill’s twitter post, was that there is some expansion going on.

As the No. 56 team heads into the new year, they now appear to have doubled their fleet from two to four trucks.
