Jeb Burton, who is driving the No. 8 Chevrolet Camaro SS for JR Motorsports, and AJ Allmedinger, who is driving the No. 16 Chevrolet Camaro SS for Kaulig Racing, will drop to the rear of the field for Saturday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series Unhinged 300 at Talladega Superspeedway after their cars both failed pre-race inspection three times.

Burton was slated to start from the eighth position, while Allmendinger was set to roll from 34th.

For fantasy racing game purposes, both drivers will be scored from their official starting spots of eighth and 34th.

Burton is making his second start of the 2020 season, while Allmendinger is making his fourth start.

Allmendinger, who won the race at Atlanta Motor Speedway a couple events ago and captured a $100,000 Dash4Cash bonus at Homestead-Miami Speedway last Sunday, will be one of the four drivers to battle for the cash again Saturday at Talladega.

Mason Massey (scheduled to start 35th), who is driving the No. 99 for BJ McLeod Motorsports will drop to the rear after unapproved adjustments to his race car.

And Tim Viens who replaced Joe Nemechek in the No. 47 Mike Harmon Racing car on the official entry list after the qualifying draw was conducted, will drop to the rear for a driver change.
