Salas will have primary sponsorship from Miramar Financial Group, a real estate loans and investments group based in Solana Beach, California. Salas has one victory in the eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series, which came at the virtual Richmond Raceway in his rookie season in the series in 2021. Salas finished 10th overall in the 2021 series championship standings.
The native of Temecula, California currently sits 12th in the eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing championship standings after three races this season.
As far as real-world competition goes, Salas competed in 16 NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series events a season ago and collected one win, eight top-fives and 12 top-10s. Additionally, the racer competed in the 2022 CARS Tour Pro Late Model Tour event at Hickory Motor Speedway, where he started third and finished fourth.
In an interview with NASCAR.com, Salas stated that the opportunity to drive for Young’s Motorsports came to pass after he reached out to team principal Tyler Young. Salas had attempted to drive for the team in the ARCA Menards Series or NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series last season, but the talks never progressed to the point of a deal being finished.
Salas regrouped in 2024, an gave Young another call, and they were able to work out the details to make his debut in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series come to fruition.
