GMS Racing’s Sheldon Creed took the Stage 2 win in Saturday’s NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series Buckle up in Your Truck 225 at Kentucky Speedway.

Creed led 20 laps in the Stage, but strategy will likely play a hand in the conclusion of the race as storms are approaching the 1.5-mile speedway in Sparta, KY in a swift fashion.

Ben Rhodes, one of the three drivers who were docked 10 points and dropped to the rear of the field due to a violation in inspection with their triangular filler panels, finished second in Stage 2.

Rhodes was followed by two of his ThorSport Racing teammates Matt Crafton in third, and Johnny Sauter — another of the pre-race penalized drivers — was fourth.

Austin Hill, who drives the Hattori Racing Enterprises Toyota finished fifth in Stage 2.

Christian Eckes, Stage 1 Winner Zane Smith, Derek Kraus, Tanner Gray and Todd Gilliland rounded out the top-10 finishers in Stage 2.

Stage and Playoff Points Awarded in Stage 2:

2 Ben Rhodes 9 0
3 Matt Crafton 8 0

5 Austin Hill 6 0
