As Ram transitions back into the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series in 2026, ending a 13-year hiatus, many have wondered which teams will jump ship over to the new OEM. One team that has removed its name from the swirling rumor mill is Niece Motorsports, which says it will continue its allegiance to Chevrolet in 2026 and beyond.

“Over the past few weeks, we’ve seen a stir of rumors swirling around the garage area about the potential of our team switching manufacturers heading into next year. We wanted to help set the record straight of our position on the matter heading into 2026,” a team official said in a statement shared with TobyChristie.com.

The statement continued, “Since 2016, Niece Motorsports has proudly been associated with our partners at General Motors, representing the Chevrolet brand. We can confirm that any rumors of our team shifting its allegiance to a different manufacturer are baseless and untrue. We look forward to continuing our strength with GM and are proud to wear bowties for years to come.”

While rumors were already swirling after the initial announcement of Ram’s return, the rumors picked up more steam once Ram Trucks CEO Tim Kuniskis appeared on Kevin Harvick’s Happy Hour Podcast last week.

In the interview, Kuniskis wouldn’t reveal any teams that would be switching over to Ram for 2026, but said the manufacturer would like to have four trucks competing under its banner in the season opener at Daytona International Speedway.

“Because some of the people we’ve talked to have told us you have to have a minimum of two [trucks], and there’s other people that are saying it’s a minimum of six. I said, ‘Look, okay, fine. Let’s plan on four, and see where it goes from there,'” Kuniskis said.

While it remains to be seen which teams will switch manufacturers or which new teams could possibly join the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series to partner with Dodge, remains to be seen, one thing is for sure: Niece Motorsports appears to be content with its relationship with General Motors.
