Luke Baldwin will make his NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series debut on March 28 at Martinsville Speedway, piloting the No. 66 Ford F-150 for ThorSport Racing.

Baldwin and ThorSport have agreed to a multi-race venture, which was announced by the team on Thursday. The 18-year-old will compete in events at Martinsville, Kansas, and North Wilkesboro.

“The opportunity to go NASCAR Truck Series racing is a dream come true,” Baldwin said. “I’m extremely thankful to be in this position with a top-notch organization like ThorSport Racing. I’m excited to work with this team and make the most of this opportunity. I’m so grateful to Duke, Rhonda, and Allison Thorson for their support, as well as Mohawk Northeast, Inc., my family, and everyone who has played a role in my career.”

Baldwin, 18, is the grandson of Modified legend Tom Baldwin, and the son of Daytona 500-winning crew chief Tommy Baldwin, Jr. Luke Baldwin claimed the 2024 SMART Modified Tour championship, including a win in the King of the Modifieds at South Boston Speedway.

Mohawk Northeast, Inc. will serve as the three-race primary sponsor for Baldwin, in NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series events at Martinsville Speedway, Kansas Speedway, and North Wilkesboro Speedway.

“We are beyond excited to support Luke Baldwin on this incredible journey,” said Al Heinke, President of Mohawk Northeast, Inc. “The NASCAR Truck Series is a proving ground for tomorrow’s champions, and we believe in Luke’s potential to leave an indelible mark on the sport.”

Along with starts in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series in 2025, Baldwin plans to defend the SMART Modified title and compete in at least 12 of 16 NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour events in 2025. He finished fourth in the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour season opener at New Smyrna Speedway in February.

Baldwin joins Luke Fenhaus and Johnny Sauter on the list of drivers competing in the No. 66 ThorSport Racing Ford F-150 during the 2025 season.

The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race at Martinsville Speedway will be televised live on FS1 on Friday, March 28 beginning at 7:30 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time. The race will also be broadcast live on the Motor Racing Network and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio Channel 90.
