During the Stage break between Stage 1 and 2 of Friday night’s NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series Strat 200 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, Kyle Busch, who won Stage 1 of the race, had a slightly sluggish pit stop. As a result, Busch would fall to second, while Christian Eckes would assume the lead of the race.

Eckes would give Busch a bit of a run for the Stage 2 win, but at the half way point of the Stage, Busch finally worked his way around Eckes and he never looked back.

Busch led the final 15 circuits of the Stage. He now heads into the final Stage of Friday’s race looking for a clean sweep. If Busch can finish the race off with a win, it will mark his seventh-consecutive win in the Truck Series dating back to 2018.

Eckes would maintain the second-place finish in the Stage — the second runner-up Stage finish of the night for the Kyle Busch Motorsports driver.

Ross Chastain was third, while last week’s race-winner Grant Enfinger came home fourth in the Stage in his No. 98 ThorSport Racing truck.

Matt Crafton, Enfinger’s teammate and defending Series champion, was fifth in the Stage 2 running order.

Ben Rhodes, Brett Moffitt, Raphael Lessard, Todd Gilliland and Johnny Sauter rounded out the top-10 in the Stage and also scored Stage points.
