Kaz Grala, who has made two NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series starts during the 2023 season for TRICON Garage, will return to the team in the No. 1 Toyota Tundra for next weekend’s event at Pocono Raceway.

Grala, 24, will have primary sponsorship from Serial 1 E-Bikes for the CRC Brakleen 150. Grala is excited to challenge for his second top-10 finish of the 2023 NASCAR Truck Series season.

“I am looking forward to making another start with TRICON at Pocono,” said Grala in a team release. “We showed speed in the races we ran together earlier this year, so I am optimistic that we can put together a great showing. I need to thank Carl Ruedebusch, Dion Reif, and the Serial 1 Dealer Network for coming on board and giving me the opportunity to drive the No. 1 again.”

Grala, despite only turning one full-time season in any NASCAR National Series division (2017 NASCAR Truck Series) prior to the 2023 season, has opened some eyes with some truly special performances in Truck, Xfinity, and NASCAR Cup Series competition.

The racing pedigree, and preparation that Grala has shown in his young career, led to Serial 1 wanting to partner with the driver.

“After researching Kaz’s resume of racing accomplishments and spending time with him at the track the last few months, I have gathered a greater understanding of his approach to racing. It was obvious to me that we wanted to sponsor him and go for a win!” said Chairman and Chief Operating Officer of Serial 1 Dion Reif.

For those unfamiliar with the brand, Serial 1 is a United States-based E-Bike brand inspired by the vision of Harley Davidson founders and the revolutionary impact of their first motorcycle, affectionately referred to as Serial Number One.

As a unique wrinkle on the sponsorship announcement, Serial 1 has partnered with Little Bricks, a charitable organization, to showcase them on the No. 1 truck at Pocono Raceway.

“In addition, we wanted to promote an amazing charitable cause, by partnering with Little Bricks at “The Tricky Triangle,” explained Reif. “The non-profit is a transformative organization dedicated to uplifting the spirits of hospitalized children, which hits home for me and my family as well as our Serial 1 team members.”

Little Bricks is blown away by the generosity shown by Serial 1, and are excited to see what Pocono has in store for the No. 1 team.

“We are so excited to be teaming up with Serial 1 Premium E-Bikes to build BIG smiles on hospitalized kids across North America. Dion and Serial 1 have stepped up with a generous donation, and now sponsorship support as well as some of their amazing products. I can’t wait to ride up to our first children’s hospital on my Little Bricks Serial 1 E-Bike with LEGO sets in tow!” said Russell Cassvah, President & Founder Little Bricks Charity.

In 50 career NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series starts, Grala has one victory, which came at Daytona International Speedway in 2017. Grala has amassed six top-five finishes and 19 top-10s over the course of his Truck Series career.

Grala is currently a full-time competitor in the NASCAR Xfinity Series for Sam Hunt Racing. Through 18 races in 2023, Grala sits 16th in the NASCAR Xfinity Series championship standings.
