Joey Logano, who won the inaugural NASCAR Cup Series race at Dirt Bristol, added the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series companion event at the track to his schedule a season ago. Well, Logano will once again run the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series companion event at the 0.533-mile dirt oval.

On Tuesday evening, Logano announced that he will pilot a Ford F-150 for ThorSports Racing for the event, and sponsorship for the effort will come from Hang 10 Car Wash.

While the number of the truck wasn’t revealed in the video, it is expected to be the No. 66 truck that Logano will pilot, as that number has already been announced as an additional truck for the organization in 2023.

Logano made the announcement in a video that he shared on social media. In the video, Logano snags a black and gray Hang 10 Car Wash hat and says, “Ready to go truckin’ again at Bristol baby, yeah!”

Last season, Logano started from the pole and finished sixth in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race at Dirt Bristol. Logano drove for David Gilliland Racing, which was a Ford team a season ago.

In the offseason, David Gilliland Racing rebranded to TRICON Garage and swapped to Toyota, while ThorSport swapped from Toyota back to Ford. With the Ford connection, Logano will run the dirt race with ThorSport.

Logano is a two-time NASCAR Cup Series champion, and he has 32 victories on his record in NASCAR Cup Series competition, including the race at Atlanta Motor Speedway a couple of weeks ago.

The Connecticut native sits third in the NASCAR Cup Series championship standings six events into his championship defense. Logano has one victory in just eight-career starts in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series.
