Ross Chastain spent the entire evening running inside the top five at Darlington Raceway, but in the race’s closing laps, the NASCAR Cup Series regular pounced to collect his fifth victory in the NASCAR Truck Series and the ninth for Niece Motorsports.

Following the race, Chastain’s race-winning No. 45 Buckle Up South Carolina Niece Motorsports Chevrolet Silverado was brought to post-race inspection, where the truck was determined to be legal. As a result, NASCAR has given the team the win.

It’s Chastain’s first win of 2024, and the first this season for Niece Motorsports.

No issues were detected in post-race inspection, which means all results and standings following Saturday night’s race are now considered official.

Nick Sanchez was officially credited with a second-place finish in the REV Racing No. 2 Chevrolet Silverado, ahead of two-time series champion Ben Rhodes, who earned his best finish of the year for ThorSport Racing. Christian Eckes and Ty Majeski each earned top-fives.

Chase Purdy, Colby Howard, Taylor Gray, Ty Dillon, and Tanner Gray rounded out the top-10.
