Despite the mountain of adversity Layne Riggs has endured in his rookie Truck Series campaign, he now has a bright spot in it, as he scored his first career victory in the LiUNA! 175 at the Milwaukee Mile.

Layne Riggs Wins First Career Truck Series Race at Milwaukee Mile


After post-race festivities were complete, Riggs and the rest of the Truck Series field went through technical inspection. The No. 38 passed without any issues, officially giving Riggs the victory.

The win marks the third straight win for Ford in the series and the first for the blue oval at Milwaukee in over 20 years.

No other issues were detected in post-race inspection, and the results from the race are now considered official. NASCAR will be taking the trucks of Corey Heim, Christian Eckes, and Ty Majeski to the R&D Center for further inspection.
