Carson Hocevar is officially a winner in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series as his race-winning No. 42 Niece Motorsports Chevrolet Silverado has cleared the post-race technical inspection checks.

Hocevar, who only led the final lap of the race en route to his first-career win, scored the win in his 59th career start.

There were no issues in post-race inspection, which means all results and standings following Saturday’s wild NASCAR Truck Series event at Texas Motor Speedway are now considered official.

The 20-year-old racer topped Chase Purdy for the race win. Stewart Friesen, Ty Majeski and Jake Garcia rounded out the top-five finishers.
