Ben Rhodes is officially a seven-time race winner in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, as his race-winning No. 99 ThorSport Racing Ford F-150 has cleared post-race inspection following Friday night’s North Carolina Education Lottery 200.

The triumph at Charlotte Motor Speedway marks the first victory of the 2023 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series season for the 2021 series champion.

By winning Friday’s race, which is part of the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Triple Truck Challenge — also known as The Trip — which is a program that rewards NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series regulars who win over a three-race stretch, Rhodes also pocketed a $50,000 bonus for the victory.

No issues were detected in post-race inspection, which means all results and standings following Friday’s race are now considered official.

Corey Heim scored the runner-up finish in the No. 11 TRICON Garage Toyota Tundra, while Dean Thompson, his teammate, came home in third.

The third-place finish is Thompson’s career-best finish.

Carson Hocevar and Grant Enfinger rounded out the top-five finishers on Friday night.

While no issues were found, NASCAR will take Heim’s No. 11 truck, Hocevar’s No. 42 truck, and Ty Majeski’s No. 98 truck back to the NASCAR R&D center for further teardown and engine dyno.
