Carson Hocevar, the full-time driver of Spire Motorsports’ No. 77 NASCAR Cup Series entry, will slide behind the wheel for the organization in the season-opening NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series event at Daytona International Speedway on Friday, February 13. The 23-year-old racer will have two notable partners plastered on the No. 77 Chevrolet Silverado for the effort.
According to a press release from the team on Thursday, Hocevar will carry IKEA and Best Buy as co-primary sponsorship partners. The team also revealed a rendering of the paint scheme for the No. 77 IKEA/Best Buy truck with the announcement:
Double-duty in the double-seven.

Hocevar, who is still seeking his first career win in the NASCAR Cup Series, is a five-time race winner in NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series competition, including a win last season at Kansas Speedway, driving the No. 7 Spire truck.
Hocevar is excited to compete in the NASCAR Truck race at Daytona with big-time partners IKEA and Best Buy on his Chevrolet Silverado.
“Ultimately, it’s super cool to represent two major brands that I’m familiar with and have strong connections to the NASCAR fan base,” said Hocevar. “My first time ever building furniture was an IKEA set, and I obviously play a lot of video games and get my electronics from Best Buy. To have both of them connected and riding with me on the No. 77 Silverado at Daytona is really special. I’ve enjoyed watching the Spire Motorsports trucks there the last two years, and I’m excited to be part of it now.”
This partnership between IKEA and Best Buy comes after the two renowned retailers paired in 2025 for their first-ever “IKEA at Best Buy” planning and shopping experiences, which rolled out in select stores across Texas and Florida.
In 81 career NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series starts, Hocevar has built quite a resume in the series. In addition to his five victories, the driver has amassed 22 top-five finishes and 34 top-10s. The driver placed fourth in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series championship standings in 2023, before moving to the NASCAR Cup Series full-time in 2024.
Hocevar, who took home NASCAR Cup Series Rookie of the Year honors in 2024, scored a career-high two top-five finishes and nine top-10s during the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series campaign.
