Henderson Motorsports will run a 12-race limited schedule in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series in 2023. Parker Kligerman will run 11 races for the team, beginning with the season-opening event at Daytona.

The No. 75 Henderson Motorsports team will head to Daytona International Speedway to kick off its 2023 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series schedule in the season-opening NextEra Energy 250.

The team confirmed to TobyChristie.com that Parker Kligerman, who won last year’s NCTS event at Mid-Ohio for the organization, will pilot the truck at Daytona.

“We are looking forward to another season with Parker –he is such a talented driver — we are expecting more wins in 2023–there’s nothing like winning,” said team owner Charlie Henderson.

Kligerman, who is set to run the full 2023 NASCAR Xfinity Series schedule with Big Machine Racing, will also run the bulk of the limited NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series schedule for Henderson Motorsports this season.

Additionally, Henderson Motorsports shared its entire 2023 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series schedule.

Chris Carrier, the returning crew chief of the No. 75 team, tells TobyChristie.com that Kligerman is slated to run 11 of the 12 races for Henderson Motorsports in 2023. According to Carrier, a driver to be named later will pilot the truck at Mid-Ohio.

“We aren’t committed to anyone [for Mid-Ohio] as of now,” Carrier said. “We know Parker cannot [race] due to the NASCAR Xfinity Series event at Atlanta on the same day. We’ve talked through a few names and reached out a little to judge interest, but nothing earth-shaking so far. Our priority is to go back with the mindset of repeating our performance from the 2022 race.”

Kligerman, 32, ran 12 races a season ago in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series for the team. The racer scored a win, four top-five finishes, and eight top-10s over the 12-race schedule.

Kligerman, who ran just over half of the 2022 NASCAR Truck Series schedule, ran well enough to rank 19th in the series championship driver standings.

On October 29th, Big Machine Racing announced that the team had hired Kligerman to serve as the full-time driver of its No. 48 entry for the 2023 NASCAR Xfinity Series season.

The Henderson Motorsports team has been a fixture in the NASCAR National Series ranks since the 1982 season, when the team fielded a NASCAR Cup Series car and a NASCAR Xfinity Series car for Brad Teague. Since that initial entry, which ran nine NASCAR Cup Series races and one NASCAR Xfinity Series race, Henderson Motorsports has gone on to log 406 starts across the NASCAR Cup, Xfinity, and Craftsman Truck Series.

The team has competed in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series in each season since 2012. Kligerman, who has scored two wins for the team, has driven for the organization since the 2017 season.
