One of NASCAR’s most promising prospects will make the move up the ladder to the Gander RV and Outdoors Truck Series at Kansas Speedway next weekend.

19-year-old Hailie Deegan will pilot her first Truck Series F-150 for DGR-Crosley in the No.17 at Kansas for the Clean Harbors 200. The race will kick off the Round of 8 for the Truck Series playoff contenders.

Ford will serve as the primary sponsor for her entry. Deegan said in a video posted to social media that she wasn’t anticipating running any Truck races this year, however due to NASCAR Qualification standards for eligibility for future races, this race needed to be added to her schedule.

Deegan has been making starts across both the ARCA Menards Series East and West, as well as the primary ARCA Menards Series since 2018.

This year, Deegan has dived into multiple avenues of racing – from ISMA, ARCA, and now Trucks.

She scored three wins in her ARCA West career across 28 starts, with 13 Top-5 finishes and 23 Top-10 finishes.

This season in the primary series, Deegan has had a steady season, with 16 Top-10 finishes, and four Top 5 finishes. She currently sits 3rd in the standings for the series in the No. 4 Fusion.

Deegan’s plans for 2021 are to be confirmed at a later date.
