FDNY Racing, one of the founding teams of the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, will be returning to the series on a part-time basis in 2025, the organization confirmed on Tuesday.

The team will be fielding the No. 28 Chevrolet Silverado in at least four NASCAR Truck Series events next season, beginning with the season-opening race at Daytona International Speedway on Friday, February 14.

Following the season-opener in Daytona Beach, Florida, the organization plans to take a small hiatus throughout the Spring, until the end of June, when they will bring the FDNY-sponsored machine back to the racetrack at Pocono Raceway.

That will begin a stretch of two consecutive races, on consecutive weekends, for the organization, with the team planning to compete in the inaugural NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series event at Lime Rock Park on June 28.

Finally, with a return to the status quo, the final planned event of the season for FDNY Racing will be at Talladega Superspeedway on October 17.

While these are currently the only four events on the docket for the race team, the organization says that it is open to adding more events – such as Rockingham Speedway, Charlotte Motor Speedway, and Nashville Superspeedway – should a driver approach the team with additional funding.

In 2024, FDNY Racing and driver Bryan Dauzat attempted to qualify for four NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series events, including their typical runs at Daytona, Pocono, and Talladega, as well as an additional event at Nashville Superspeedway.

At Daytona in February, Dauzat collected the second top-10 finish for both himself and FDNY Racing, after avoiding a massive accident on the final lap of the season-opening event, which took out several trucks.

Brother-In-Law Motorsports, the ARCA Menards Series operation owned by FDNY Racing’s main driver Bryan Dauzat, plans to compete in three events in 2025, at Daytona International Speedway, Talladega Superspeedway, and Charlotte Motor Speedway.

Additionally, the team is also in search of funded drivers to compete in the pre-season testing session at Daytona International Speedway in January.

For FDNY Racing, the NASCAR season will begin at Daytona International Speedway on Friday, February 14, 2025. Coverage of the event will be on FOX Sports 1.
