Eldora Speedway will not return to the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series scheduled next season, the half-mile dirt track announced Wednesday Afternoon in a note to ticketholders.

The speedway – owned by three-time NASCAR Cup Series Champion Tony Stewart — has played host to the NASCAR Truck Series every year since 2013, when the facility brought dirt racing back to NASCAR’s National Series for the first time in nearly 43 years.

While the full 2021 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series schedule has yet to be released, rumors suggest that the series’ schedule will still include at least oneevent on the dirt next season.

Since the release of the note by Eldora Speedway, NASCAR has confirmed that the Camping World Truck Series will not return to the facility next year.
